The smart film is also called PDLC film. PDLC has properties to become transparent when electric current is supplied to it, allowing you to turn the film from transparent to opaque with simple controls.

Non-Adhesive Switchable Smart Film is used for smart glass’s production. Its production required the high temperature and high pressure lamination glass equipment. Smart glass’s structure is: tempered glass+EVA+non-adhesive smart film+EVA+tempered glass.
A simple ON – OFF mode switches the film from being clear (transparent) to frosted (opaque). In its frosted state the film acts as an electronic blind providing privacy and security for any glass, window or partition.
Non-Adhesive Switchable Smart Film is available in widths up to 1800mm and can be cut to any size and shape. Multiple pieces can be joined together to create large switchable glazed panels or partitions.
